The Councilor of Ward F2, Surulere Constituency 1, Hon Ajibola Ajala distributed stationeries to pupils of Salvation Army and Abimbola Gibson yesterday 21st January 2019. This action is a continuation of his good work in the community he represents.
Sometime ago, Hon. Ajala provided a wheelbarrow, shovels, rakes and brooms to the youths of Hogan Bassey Crescent, Ward F2 in order to assist them in the sanitation of their crescent.
It was also reported that 2 weeks ago, the Honourable selected some youths in his Ward for a 3 days programme on HIV, which was organized by UNICEF and National Agency for the Control of Aids (NACA). This programme involved the selection of adolescents and youths from several communities in Lagos State. These adolescents and youths were educated for 3 days on HIV and were given some materials like shirt, bag, posters etc which they would use for the purpose of campaigning and informing the adolescents and youths in their respective communities the need to be informed and educated about HIV, since sexual intercourse is rampant amongst the adolescent and youths in the society nowadays. However, the beneficiaries of this programme are known as Peer Educators and they are to work passionately in order to ensure that adolescent and youths in their communities are well informed.
The Honourable stated that he will continue to do the needful in order to ensure the development of his Ward.
